RIDE PER DAY
First things first, before you continue reading: we are riders, we love to ride bikes, and it is what we do in our free time!Furthermore, we are trail-builders and we love to guide you through the trails that we know, maintain, and love. Because we live in the area and ride so often, we know which descents have the best conditions at all times. That is to say, that conditions are not always predictable as they are ever-changing depending on weather conditions. It is because of this, that we unfortunately cannot promise a “fixed” schedule for these days. Do not despair though, because what we can promise, is that we will do absolutely everything possible so that you enjoy an unforgettable experience!
DAY 1
Ainsa and its thousands of kilometres of old trails. We will ride in the mythical ‘Margas’ and the special stages of the 2015 and 2018 EWS. The area is known as a pioneer in Spain, in the recovery of ancient trails, and will be an incredible starting point for this trip. Imagine castles, dust and rocks to start off your unforgettable journey!
Climb +500m
Descent -1200m
DAY 2
We play at home – Bielsa and its incredible Pineta Valley! Here you will be mesmerised by its views, its incredible trails, the high mountains and lush forest… Simply amazing! We are the trailbuilders in this area and we are excited to take you to the best descents – including the secret ones!
Descent 2500m
Climb 250m
DAY 3
We cross the Pyrenees to fully enter France! Here we will cross a gorgeous, high mountain single-track ahead of the roads, to reach beautiful trails moulded in an incredible way for our enjoyment.
Descent 2500m
Climb 700m
DAY 4
Loudenvielle – a must-visit for every MTB lover! In recent years this area has become a reference for hosting the EWS and the downhill world cup, thanks to the masterful work done in developing our sport here in the Pyrenees!
If it’s wet, the trails will be a thrilling challenge for us!
Descent 2500m
Climb 150m
DAY 5
We change the high mountains for the pre-Pyrenees, La Pobla De Segur. This area of well-made trails and impressive views contains an exhilirating mix between rocky areas and steep forest areas – nothing but fun!
DAY 6
Tremp, probably the best trailbuilding in the Pyrenees, and an absolute must for every biker! Here we find many great trails that are perfectly maintained. It’s mythical areas of rock slabs make this Iberian Squamish the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable week!
TECHNICAL AND PHYSICAL LEVEL
Although most of the steep climbs will be done by van, a good physical level is required in general, because there are many days in a row, accumulating meters of downhill.
It is mandatory to be able to ascend about 400 meters per day and to have a level to comfortably descend red trails, and to be able to have experience on days with more than 2000 meters of descent.
